Great Boulder Nickel Assays

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE. Jan. 26. Great Boulder Gold Mines, Ltd, has disclosed generally higher nickel assays from drilling in the Mt Martin area in Western Australia. Assays ranged from 6.9 per cent over 22 inches in hole No. 56 to 0.34 per cent in the same hole, the company said yesterday. The best results come from hole No. 59 at the lowest depths yet reported by the company.

The hole, which is still being drilled, averaged 3.25 per cent nickel over 12 feet 9 inches, between 788 feet 10 inches and 810 feet 7 inches. This included assays of 6.76 per cent over 10 inches, 6.5 per cent over 13 inches, 6.37 per cent over 18 inches.
