Market Firmer At Close

Rises outnumbered falls almost three to one at the close of trading oh New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. N.Z. Petroleum continued to stand out, with a rise of 35c to 250 c, and Wiseman Holdings, 8.H.P., and C.S.R. had good rises. Other moves were narrow. Trading was light over a narrow range.
