Surf Appeal
The annual street appeal held in Christchurch yesterday by the Canterbury Surf Life-saving Association raised $1350. Last year the association raised £9OO. The money will be shared among the affiliated clubs and the association. It will be placed in a trust account and used only to buy life-saving equipment.
Belfast Reunion.—About 60 old pupils including some foundation members of the Belfast School and the former Spencerville and Coutts Island schools, will attend the annual old scholars’ reunion to be held at the Belfast School this afternoon.
