Lively Lady Sighted
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 24. A Royal New Zealand Air Force Orion, from Whenuapai, flown by Squadron Leader T. E. Enright, today sighted the lone British yachtsman Alec Rose in the Tasman Sea. Mr Rose is heading south of New Zealand in his 36ft ketch Lively Lady before squaring away before the roaring forties on the long run to Cape Horn. The Orion sighted the Lively Lady 340 nautical miles east-south-east of Hobart. The 59-year-old yachtsman is sailing round the world from Portsmouth to Australia and back to Portsmouth:
