In !! racing form the car is ex- !; pected to be capable of 150 m.p.h., and Ford also ;! plans to enter versions in !! international rallies. !! The Canterbury Car I; Club’s Banks Peninsula !; rally on February 4 will ;; start from the Bishopdale ;! shopping centre at 9.45 ;! a.m., and the first car is !! expected to finish at Hals- !; well at 3 p.m. Maps are !; not essential. Sealed watch |' timing will be used. The ■ ! event will run on check-to- ! check timing. The event was '' a time-keeping exercise. ! The British driver, ! David Hobbs, is expected I; to drive a V-12 engined !; B.R.M. in major formula ;; one events this season. The ! car is one of the two used ! by the B.R.M. team in New Zealand and Australia last !; year.
