Softball To Hutt Valley
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. Hutt Valley yesterday won the girls’ sectton of the national ' senior boys’ and girls' softball tournament being held at Taurnarunui. Wellington was second, Bay of Plenty third, and Southern King Country fourth. Results:— Boys.—Canterbury 8, Wellington 5; Waikato 10, Southern King Country 7; Wellington 2, Waikato 0: Hutt Valley 7, Southern King Country 3; Wellington 6,. Southern King Country 5; Hutt Valley 10, Canterbury Girls.—Wellington 13, Bay of Plenty 2; Hutt Valley 24 Southern King Country 7; Hutt Valley 7. Wellington 1; Bay of Plenty 121, Southern King Country 20.
