Strong Team
A strong Canterbury golf team has been chosen to play MidSouth Canterbury at the Methven course on February 11. The team is:— R. C. Murray (captain), E. H. Richards, D. R. Hope, J. R. Broadhurst, R. K. Atkinson, R. M. Farrant, J. F. Logie, J. A. Orr, A. W. Robinson, R. S. Clements, R. H. Bradley and R. B. Townsend. Manager: Mr D. H Lawrence. The golfers chosen to represent Canterbury at the South Island under-21 inter-provincial tournament at the Glen-iti course, Timaru, on February 10 and 11, are B. C. Taylor, R. E Hobbs. F. T. Hobbs, and W. Hoy. J. Dickson is the reserve and Mr S. G. H. Rich will be manager.
