Th salary scale of the post is as follows:—SS7so x (30)—SS900/ SS93O X (35)—551140 basic per month. Variable cost of living and expatriation allowances are also payable, the former depending upon marital status, the latter upon level of basic salary. Details of total emoluments are as follows: i Single—Basic salary from 58750 to SS1140: variable cost of . living allowance SSI7S; ex i patriation allowance from 53140 to SS2OO; total per month from 861065 to 551515. j Married Without Children—Basic salary from SS7SO to S 61140; variable cost of living allowance from 56187.50 to 53280; expatriation allowance from 56140 to SS2OO; total per month 561077.50 to 551620. Married With Children—Basic salary from 56750 to SS1140; variable cost of living allow ance from 5U87.50 to SS2BS; expatriation allowance from SSI4O to S 8200; total per month from 551077.50 to 551625. The sum pay : able per month will amount to , approximately SSBS7. In addition, successful candidates will receive;—(a) free medical attention and hospital isation for the officer himself; < b) free partly furnished accommodation with free light and water; (c) economy class air passages to and from Singa pore for himself and family in accordance with current Pass age Regulations: (d) long leave on full-pay at the rate of two months per year of resident service; and (e) three weeks local leave per completed year of service. After obtaining Unrestricted (Class A) Pilot’s Licence (with in six months in normal circum stances) basic salary will be increased to SSB4O per month. After the first year of satisfac tory service, salary will be further increased to 56900 basic per month. Service is terminable at any time on four months’ notice by either party. A pension, which may, at employee's option, be commuted for a lump sum pay ment, is payable at termination of service of not less than two years duration.
