Yachtswoman Drowns
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 23. A Wellington woman was drowned yesterday afternoon when her yacht overturned on Lake Wairarapa. She was: Mrs Edin Helen Muir, of 60 Pretoria Road, Seatoun. Her leg was found entagled with the sail ropes when the police recovered the body about 7 p.m. She was wearing a lifejacket The lake was rough and a strong north-westerly was blowing. Mrs Muir, her 12-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter, had been holidaying with relatives at Brockets Bush in the Wairarapa.
