PAINTING COMPETITION AT NORTHLANDS.—Children between the ages of 10 and 12 years took part in a painting competition yesterday at the Northlands shopping centre. Pamela Dwyer, of Papanui, aged 12 (left), and Jillian Rudd, of Wainoni, aged 11, are shown putting the finishing touches to their efforts. Today, those aged 15 to 17 are painting, and the competition will end tomorrow. Prizes have been given by business firms in the centre.
