Power Cable Cut
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 23. A man suffered flash bums to his face and hands when he cut into a 6600-volt cable on the site of the new library in Lome Street, Auckland, this afternoon. Power in the area was off for up to 50 minutes. The injured man, Mr Donovan Tawhara, aged 29, of Parnell, was in a satisfactory condition in Middlemore Hospital tonight
