Second Win
Judy Cassab, an Austrianborn artist who now lives in Sydney, this month won her second Archibald Prize—Australia’s prestige award for portrait painting. Both of her prize-winning portraits have been of fellow artists. Miss Cassab, now Australian, became the first woman to win the $l5OO prize twice with her portrait of Margo Lewers, a well-known Sydney painter. She won her first Archibald Prize in 1960. Born in Vienna, she settled in Australia in 1951.
