Officials To See Play The president and secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (Messrs Z. R. Irani and S. Sriraman) will be in New Zealand for part of the Indian team's tour next month. Mr Irani will be In New Zealand to see the match against the President’s XI, to start at Hamilton on February 5, and Mr Sriraman will be with the team until the end of the first test. The New Zealand Cricket Council has named the umpires for the first two matches of the Indians’ tour. Messrs W. T. Martin and D. E. Copps will officiate in the President’s XI match; and Messrs R. Allen and R. W. Shortt will stand in on the game against Central Districts at New Plymouth. The admission charges have also been decided. Children will be charged 20c (ground) and 40c (enclosure) for all matches. Test charges for adults will be 60c and 75c—and $2.75 for the match—and in the other two matches, 50c and 60c. The match charge for the latter will be $1.50.
