BLENHEIM. There were several upsets on the first day of the New Zealand age group tennis ehampionships at Blenheim yesterday. Nearly 180 leading juniors are contesting the under-15 and under-17 sections. The sixth-seeded pair in the under-17 combined dounles, B. Boudinet and C. Healey (Hutt Valley), were beaten in the third round by G. Herman and J Gunn (Wellington), M, 64. In the under-15 combined doubles, the fourth-seeded pair. T. Smith and M. Corkery

(Southland), were convincingly beaten in a quarter-final by J. Mathews and P. Monds (Southland), 6-3, 6-2. In the under-15 mixed doubles, the second-seeded pair, J. Mills and C.
