Share Market Again Easier
The share market was again easier on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. Falls outnumbered rises two to one. Trading was active over a wide range.
Crothall stood put, with a rise of 15c, to 270 c, and Rothmans recovered 7c, to close at 179 c.
B.H.P. lost 10c, to 1660 c, and Myer lost 18c of the recent strong gains to sell at 460 c. Notable falls in the New
Zealand list were: Colonial Motor, 20c to 445 c; Cropper* N.R.M. notes, 7c to 218 c: N.Z., 8c to 152 c; L. D. Nathan rights, 5c to 40c; N.A.F., 15c to 105 c: South British Insurance, 12c to 348 c; N.Z. Insurance, 4c to 254 c; N.Z. Forest Products, 3c to 222 c; Autocrat, 5c to 70c.
