OBITUARY
MR T. M. HASLETT The death occured in Sydney recently of Mr T. M. Haslett, who took a prominent part in Young Men’s Christian Association affairs in Christchurch before he went overseas. He was aged about 80.
Mr Haslett was the director of the Boys’ Gordon Hal) of the Christchurch Y.M.C.A. from 1924 to 1928 and was subsequently appointed the New Zealand secretary of the Student Christian Movement. He served for a time with the S.C.M. in China and Switzerland before going to Australia to become tbe headmaster of Knox Grammar School at Wahroonga. On the Inception of the Y.M.C.A. training school in Sydney, in 1957, Mr Haslett was appointed one of the lecturers at the school, a post he held until recently. He is survived by his wife.
