C.R.A. Move With North B.H. Denied

(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) MELBOURNE, January 17. The chairman of Conzinc Riotinto of Australia, Ltd (Sir Maurice Mawby) last night denied any knowledge of a reported share exchange plan between his company and New Broken Hill to enable North B.H. to be domiciled in Australia.

He said that the matter has not even been discussed, although there has been the hope for some time that it would eventuate. In fact, a senior Conzinc Riotinto official has only recently been in London to talk with the New Broken Hill executives, but the matter was not raised.

The London newspaper “Sun” report said gossip about

the exchange had been started by the 3s 6d jump in New Broken Hill shares to 88s in London. The newspaper added: “Talk is of a share swap on the basis of one and one quarter Conzinc Riotinto for each North B.H.
