SAILING SUCCESS.—The a class catamaran Elizabeth, skippered by R. Skelton, of Greymouth, gained first place in the open class three-race event at the national catamaran championships in Auckland last week. In the international A class title contest, Skelton was beaten by less than a point by another West Coaster, C.P. Hende, of Hokitika, in Belinda.
