Few Clues To Identity
(N.I. Press Association) ROTORUA, Jan. 16. Australian police have been asked to assist in inquiries being made to establish the identity of a woman found dead in a Rotorua motel yesterday. Senior-Sergeant A. H. Brannigan, of Rotorua, said today the woman had apparently arrived in Rotorua from Auckland by bus on Friday. The woman, aged between 40 and 45, booked under the name D. Thompson, and gave the forwarding address of Newcastle Street, Australia. She did not stat* what town or state. Although the cause of her death has not been property established yet, polic* say there are no suspicious circumstances.
