MUNICIPAL ELECTRICITY DEPT 7130 MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1965, Notice is Hereby Given that the Malvern County Council, for the purpose of permitting the Canterbury Car Club (Inc.) to conduct standing and flying kilometre sprint events on Saturday, February 17, 1968. proposes- to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. During the proposed period of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the road. (1) Officials of the Canterbury Car Club will arrange for the road to be opened between events to allow all traffic to proceed. (2) Alternative access to and from the Greendale area will be available via Haw-kins-Burnham Road, Adams Road and Bealey Road. QUINN, Secretary, No. 9 Transport Licensing Authority. 7273 GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL CLOSED FIRE SEASON PUBLIC NOTICE is given that under Sub-section 2 of Section 19 of the FOREST AND RURAL FIRES ACT, 1955, that the lighting of fires in the open in the whole of the Geraldine County area is prohibited until further notice. While this order Is in force no person shall set on fire or cause to be set on fire in the open air any trees or timber, bracken, gorse, broom, lupins, grass, stubble or other plans or debris from forest or land clearing operations, or any other combustible material whatsoever, except pursuant to a written permit. Possession of a permit to burn in no way relieves the person lighting the fire from the full responsibility of keeping the fire under control.
