Credit Deal For Holeproof Plant
(.Special Correspondent N.Z.PA.) LONDON, January 3. A financial package deal worth some £250,000 has been arranged by Exporters Refinance Corporation, Ltd, to enable Holeproof Industries, Ltd, textile manufacturers, to re-equip and modernise its woollen mill and nylon plant at Shannon.
According to a release from the corporation, the agreement takes the form of a credit that allows Holeproof to purchase plant and equipment over a period of time from a variety of manufacturers in both Britain and Continental countries. Funds to finance Holeproof’s Continental purchases—which account for about one-third of
the total facility—will be raised in Euro-dollar currencies.
Holeproof Industries is the principal manufacturing unit of the £4.4 million Holeproof Group, leading suppliers of hosiery in New Zealand. Total finance arranged by E.R.C. for Holeproof over the last three years now exceeds £750,000.
