Fijian Game Abandoned
(N.Z. Press Association) MASTERTON. Play in the Wairarapa v. Fiji cricket match was abandoned at 1.30 p.m. yesterday after a thunderstorm had flooded the pitch. The loss of revenue to the Wairarapa Cricket Association through the loss of one and a half days of play is expected to run into several hundreds of dollars.
