Changes In Team
Several members of Canterbury’s Plunket Shield team will be rested for the game against the touring Fijians, at Lancaster Park on January 5 and 6. But the replacements are interesting ones. They are D. S. Banks, who has been batting with consistent success for Old Collegians this season, and two young West ChristchurchUniversity bowlers, D. G. Trist and C. M. Kirk.
The team is: B. F. Hastings (captain), C. L. Bull, R. W. Anderson, D. S. Banks, C. M. Kirk, D. G. Trist, P. A. Sharp, B. Isherwood, J. W. Burtt, K. I. Ferries, K. Thomson with J. Mclntyre the twelfth man.
