New Engine For Tiri
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 22.
The Radio Hauraki ship Tiri will be re-engined in about a month.
Mr D. J. Gapes, managingdirector of Radio Hauraki, said today that the ship would be off the air and go to Whangaparapara Harbour, on Great Barrier Island, for the new engine to be fitted. It should only take a day to put in the new motor, he said. It was almost impossible to get parts for the present engine.
