(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright! NEW YORK, Dec. 1. The man who laid the foundations for the Common Market today set down a formula for solving world problems—with the first step a united Europe including British entry to the Common Market. Mr Jean Monnet, father of the Common Market, said he was convinced Britain needed to be a part of a large European market and the European community “needs the participation of Britain to be able to exercise in the world the peaceful influence we all need.”
