Death Penalty Restricted

OTTAWA, Dec. 1.
The Canadian House of Commons last night approved a bill restricting the death penalty to murderers of policemen and prison guards, for a five-year trial period. The bill, which now goes to the Senate, was approved by 105 votes to 70.
