TRADE MISSION TO AFRICA.—Mr D. O. Walker (left), who has been appointed leader of the trade mission to be sent by the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation to South and East Africa next April and May, and Mr W. G. Kerslake, who has been chosen as manager of the mission. Mr Walker is director of marketing for N.Z. Forest Products, Ltd, and Mr Kerslake is executive officer for export promotion for the Manufacturers’ Federation. The mission is to visit Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Nairobi, and Mombasa. It will be the first to be sent by the federation to potential markets outside the Pacific Basin.
