A. Munro, took three quick wickets. _ _ However, R. Roy and R. Byers blunted the attack with their patient, solid defence. Roy batted 150 minutes lor his 29. while Byers consolidated the middle-order batting and made a draw inevitable. The College’s best bowler was Munro, who attacked the stumps to take five wickets tor 47. He was well supported by S. A. L. Read, who conceded only 18 runs oft 15 overs and took two wickets.
