Drowned At School
(N.Z. Preu Asiociation) AUCKLAND, Nov. 28. A sixth form pupil at Otahuhu college drowned in the school swimming pool about 9.30 this morning. He was Maurice Wade Fuller, aged 18, son of Mr and Mrs E. R. Fuller, of Papatoetoe. The headmaster, Mr G. Anstice, said the boy had been swimming in the pool during a free period allowed to pupils following examinations. He was seen by boys on the side of the pool in about 2ft 6in of water at the shallow end. He was taken out and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation was given by a master.
