Tunnel Toll
An Increase of $2016 in toll revenue was reported to the Christchurch-Lyttelton Road Tunnel Authority yesterday by the general manager (Mr L. H. Wilson). For the first seven months of the financial year there had been a decrease of $15,098 in total tolls, he said. Now that tolls were at the same rate as last year, when they were lowered, there should be no more decrease reported, he said. Receipts last month were $29,914, which was $2068 aoove the budget, ana tne chairman (Mr R. A. Witbrock) said the same trend had been shown this month.
