Rowing Test Postponed

(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM. New Zealand beat Australia by one length in a coxed fours race at a rowing regatta on the Wairau River yesterday. The race did not count in the test series, which New Zealand leads, 5-3. It was to have been an international but at the request of the Australians this was postponed until Sunday on Lake Waihola. In another race, the Australians pairs crew, unbeaten in two tests against New Zealand, narrowly held off Whakatane over 1000 metres to win by two feet. In the single sculls, P. Edwards (Australia) won by a length from R. Sutherland (Wairau). The New Zealand representative, N. Mills, was third.
