DOCTOR’S VISIT
Dr James B. Brown, first assistant (endocrinologist) of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Melbourne, is to visit New Zealand next month. He has been invited to lecture throughout the country by the New Zealand Society of Endocrinology, and his visit is supported by the New Zealand Post-graduate Medical Federation.
Dr Brown will visit Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Palmerston North, Hamilton and Auckland. New Zealand-born, Dr Brown has carried out significant research in the field of the endocrinology of reproduction, and is also interested in endocrine treatment of cancer, particularly breast cancer. He will be in Christchurch from December 12 to 14.
