Fendalton Hall Property Sold
A building property of 26.7 perches at 131 Clyde Road was sold for $16,000 at a public auction on Thursday. The Government valuation is $12,500.
The property includes the old St Barnabas Church Hall, also known as the Fendalton Hall, which is subject to a demolition order.
Bidding opened at $lO,OOO and rose in SlOOO bids to $15,000. Two further bids of $5OO were then made. The auctioneer was Mr D. C. Wilson for Sherris and Wilson, Ltd.
