Big Demand For Space
The demand for space for trade exhibits at the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Show this week has been heavier than ever before. It exceeds the space sold for exhibits at last year's Royal Show at Christchurch. Business firms, It appears, have found the annual show one of its best “shop windows" but the secretary of the Canterbury A. and P. Association (Mr H. M. Studholme) suggested, this week, that, with harder times financially, firms were making an effort to “get out and sell.” Canterbury Court has added to-the range of trade exhibitors who require space at the show, As well as machinery exhibits, both indoor and outside, there will be special displays by firms and organisations associated with agriculture.
