Nearly Upset In Squash
(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA. C. Waugh (Henderson) nearly caused an upset against the world championship runner-up, C. Nancarrow (Australia), in the second round of the Rothmans round-robin squash series at Rotorua on Monday night. Nancarrow won a gruelling five-game match, 9-3, 3-9, 5-9, 9-5, 9-6. R. Carter (Australia) beat L. Greene (New Zealand). 9-3, 9 1, 9-7. K. Hiscoe (Australia) also disposed of his New Zealand opponent, J. Walker, in three straight games. L. Robberds (Australia) took four games to beat his countryman, E. Hamilton, 9 10, 9-7, 9-6, 10-8.
