AID FOR ASIA
Aust. Council Of Churches (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Nov. 6. The Australian Council of Churches will give $465,000 towards projects in 50 countries in its 1968 aid and development programme. Asia will receive most from the programme—sl26,97o going to projects in 15 countries. The programme will be implemented by the council’s inter-church aid division in the field of agriculture, education, health, refugee work and church mission.
The Rev. Harvey Perkins, national secretary of the division, said among the project' to be financed include a least $15,000 for refugee ser vice teams in Vietnam.
