METHODIST OFFICERS
(N.Z. Presa Association) DUNEDIN, Nov. 3. The Methodist Church at its annual conference in Dunedin today elected the following officers for 1968-69: President, the Rev. W. R. ■ Francis (Whangarei); vice- | president, Mr E. A. Crothall j (Christchurch); secretary, the , Rev. W. R. Laws (Christi church). The venue for the 1968 conference will be New Plymouth. The conference appointed the Rev. A. K. Petch and Mrs G. E. Hill as its representatives to attend the fourth assembly of the World Council of Churches which will be held at Uppsala, Sweden, next July. It also appointed the Rev. J. D. Grocott and Mr W. E. Donnelly as its representatives to attend the East Asian Christian conference at Bangkok in January.
