Electrical Goods Destroyed

Smoke rose hundreds of feet when fire consumed the bulk store of Wooff and Salvesen, Ltd, electrical suppliers, in Lichfield Street, yesterday afternoon. The value of the damage was not available last evening. A call was received by the Christchurch Fire Brigade on the automatic alarm system at 3.30 p.m. and was followed by a number of telephone calls.
