Second Win For Biscay
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A > MELBOURNE. Biscay, a brilliant Australian two-year-old, set another record at only his second race start, when he led all the way over the straight five furlongs in the Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington on Saturday. Meeting his six rivals at level weights at 8-10, Biscay won by eight lengths in 58 2-ssec, clipping three-tenths of a second off the previous race record set by L’Orange Boy. At his only previous sUft Biscay (Star Kingdom—Magic Symbol) carried 8-5, and jset a new Australian record of 45.8 seconds for four furlongs when he won the Debutante Stakes at Caulfield on October 14.
