PEOPLE’S NIGHTS
Presentation Of Drama There was a good attendance at the two people's nights, held in conjunction with the Presbyterian General Assembly, in the Theatre Royal on Saturday and last night The evening was organised by the assembly’s Christian education committee, and took the form of a religious drama, the script for which was written by Mrs I. Robinson, of Dunedin.
The Rev. D. C. Boyd, convenor of the committee, said the play was intended to stimulate those who saw it to reconsider their role in society and the Church’s work. Mrs M. Breward produced the play, which lasted two hours and had a cast of 35. The actors were drawn from several denominations.
