The appointment will be for one year and will carry an emolument of 31200. A supplementary emolument of 8400 may be paid to a ' married Fellow whose present . domicile is outside the Wellington metropolitan area. The Director-General of Education has advised that the successful applicant may also be granted . full salary during the period 1 of the fellowship. It is intended that the appointee should be a senior teacher of physics who will be * attached to the Physics Depart ' ment at the Victoria University of Wellington for the purpose of bringing himself up to date * with the developments in his subject and generally providing a link between universities and secondary schools in the subject.
