Water-race Pollution
The chemical thimet was not used for the control of weeds in water-races, as he was reported as saying in “The Press” on October 16. said the chairman of the Malvern County Council (Mr C. O. Redfern) The chemical was used mainly in the Malvern area for the control of insects, particularly aphides in wheat, he said.
