Search Called Off
(N.Z. Prest As»n.—Copyright) JUNEAU (Alaska), Oct. 15. The search for the 22 missing members of the 40-man crew of the sunken freighter Panoceanic Faith , was ended at nightfall on Friday, Coast Guard headquarters said. The ship went down in the North Pacific on Monday, 870 miles south-west of Kodiak, Alaska. Five members of the crew were rescued and 13 bodies were recovered.
