DIED AFTER EXPLOSION
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Oct. 16. One of three people who were badly burnt in an explosion In a washhouse at Waikiwi last Monday died in Kew Hospital day. He was Roland Richard Grieve, aged 28, married, with three young children, of 6 Roseburn Place. His wife, Inda, aged 27, and Mrs Sarah Keown, aged 53, who were also injured in the explosion, are in a satisfactory condition in hospital. The explosion occurred while they were proofing a canvas awning in a copper with a mixture of petrol and wax.
