Compensation Court
Judge Blair reserved his decision yesterday after hearing evidence in the first of about 30 cases set down for hearing during the present sitting of the Compensation Court, which will extend until October 27.
The case heard yesterday relates to an application by A. C. Nottingham, Ltd (Mr R. G. Blunt) to end compensation payments, and have a lump-sum payment fixed, to Maurice Wicks, aged 42, who injured his back while working for the company in November, 1964. Wicks was represented by Mr B. A. Barrer.
