Wool
Sir, —What fools Mr Duncan, the Auckland importer, must think we all are. He seems upset that he is not allowed to sell 3000 bales of wool at prices that "could be negotiated between him and the buyer” provided he can spend a fifth of the proceeds overseas and have an import licence to cover the goods so purchased. Doubtless he would import agricultural machinery and sell it to the man who produced the wool, at 100 per cent profit!—Yours, etc., SHORN. October 14, 1967.
