DOVER EDEN FOR TE AWAMUTU

Dover Eden, an impressive Winner on the erst day, has a great chance of completing a double when she contests the Te Awamutu Trotting Cup, the first leg of the T.A.B. double on the second day of the Te Awamutu meeting today. She has thrived during the week and the distance again is two miles. The race has drawn a very big field and luck in the running will play an Important part. Dover Eden's strongest opposition may come from Prince Tudor and Reporter. The first New Zealand Sires’ Produce Stakes is arousing wide interest. A splendid field Is engaged. Willie Mac la the likely favourite, but there will be good support for the Christchurch pair, Happy Hal and Bewitched, the Pukekohe combination of Captain Frost and Caledonian Forbes, and the Teraton-Mart-posa bracket.
