Sixth-form Mathematics teachers from any part of New Zealand are Invited to apply for the position of Visiting Teaching Fellow in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Canterbury. The appointment will be for one year and will carry an emolument of 31200. The Director-General of Education has advised that the successful applicant may also be granted full salary during the period of the Fellowship. It is intended that the appointee should be a senior teacher of Mathematics attached to the Mathematic*. Department at, the University of Canterbury for the purpoie of bringing himself up-to-date with developments fo his subset - and generally providing a ink between universities and secondary schools fo the subject.
