The Canterbury Association <rf Language Teachers elected toe following officers:—President, Mr W. Turtle (Cashmere H.S.); vicepresident, Mr H. Dowling (St Andrew’s College); secretary, Mr R. Studholme (Christ's College); treasurer, Mr F. N. Wilson (Christchurch Boys’ High School); committee, Mr J. Mcßride (Christ’s College), Miss R. Nunn (Hillmorton H.S.), Mtes J. Moir (Avonside G.H.S.), Mr I. Batchelor (Ashburton College). The annual meeting heard descriptions of audio-visual French teaching at Christ's College and of toe work being done for foreign teachers of French at toe University of Becancon, in France.
