MEETING PLANNED

(N.g. Freis Annotation) WELLINGTON, Oct. 13. The first sign of a break to the deadlocked dispute between the Hotel Association of New Zealand and the Hotel Workers’ Federation came tonight with an announcement by the Secretary.of Labour (Mr N. S. Woods) that toe two parties may meet in Wellington on Tuesday. Mr Woods said he had Issued an invitation to both organisations to attend a meeting to Wellington under the chairmanship of a former Secretary of Labour, Mr H. Beckett. Although he had not yet received formal acceptances to his invitation, Mr Woods said he had “very reasonable expectations” that both parties would attend the meeting.
